Tips and Tricks WHEN VISITING Horror Unleashed

  GETTING THERE / PARKING

  • UHU is located at Area15, an upcoming and developing arts and entertainment district. just moments away from the Las Vegas Strip. It’s located at the north end of Zone 2, next to the Looper carousel and across from Dolls Kill and Nacho Daddy.
  • If you are driving, there is a dedicated parking garage for Area15 just steps away, located at 3031 Rigel Ave. This is also where the Area15 inter-zone tram, the GIT, will drop you off or pick you up.
  • Parking on site is free for cars with Nevada license plates. Other state license plates are subject to a small charge via license plate readers, however, you may be able to find limited free street parking available along Meade Avenue. In fact, this can get you even closer to to the Horror Unleashed entrance.
  • If you are staying on the strip and don’t mind the wait, Zoox is a driverless taxi that is currently offering free rides to and from Area15.

  ARRIVING AT WAREHOUSE 25

  • Do purchase your tickets online (it will save you time versus going to the ticket window), but don’t purchase them days in advance as there is almost no chance of Horror Unleashed selling out and risking losing your money if it turns out you cannot go. If you do purchase your ticket at the window, you will be handed a physical ticket. Regardless if your ticket is physical or electronic, take a screen shot of it. You will need to show it at the entrance of each of the houses. Even if you purchased a Fraidy Cat ticket, some event features, such as the Feaster Grieving’s hedge maze may require showing it.
  • Tickets are no longer time restricted for entry and you can stay as long as you want once you enter (but you may not leave and re-enter) so unless you absolutely need to be first in line, try not to plan on showing up when Horror Unleashed opens (currently 4 pm) as there is generally a larger burst of guests at opening and most will leave within a few hours. Showing up at 5 pm or later will result in a much quicker entry process. If you do wish to be first in line, plan on arriving at about half an hour prior to opening. 15-20 minutes before Horror Unleashed opens, security will let guests begin to line up inside the Warehouse. If you can wait to arrive / stay later into the evening, the Warehouse should become more enjoyable as most guests have left and the monsters tend to get a little extra playful, leading to some particularly fun interactions.
  • Cameras with detachable lenses , weapons and other certain objects may not be allowed into the Warehouse. For those items, it is best to avoid bringing them in completely, but there are paid lockers available both inside the Warehouse, after the security checkpoint, or just outside in the Area15 complex. The list of prohibited items is outlined in the Guest Conduct page.

  FOOD AND DRINK

  • While each of the locations that serves alcohol (The Boiler, Jack’s Alley, Premiere House) share most of the drinks, they each have their own specialties.

  • For at least the duration of the summer event, Demented Circus /aka/ the Jack and Chance Show (/aka/ Stay or Slay) has been relocated into the Premiere House. While seating inside the Premiere House is reserved for dining guests only, there is a roped-off strip running along the restaurant entrance for standing room only guests who wish to watch the performance without purchasing food. Space is limited to about 40 guests. For those over the age of 21, the bar is also an option, but anticipate ordering food and/or drinks there as well.
  • Reservations are generally not required for the Premiere House, but the earlier shows do tend to fill the location, so they are recommended if you wish to dine during the show. You can make reservations in advance online, or head to the Premiere House as soon as you arrive to secure your reservations for that day.
  • There is an unlisted mini-show that takes place at the Chopper’s cage by the entrance to Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The show usually takes place five minutes or so prior to the house re-opening (e.g., 6:25 pm). If you see the Chopper and an individual guest, clad in a red satin Jack the Clown jacket lingering in the area, there’s a good chance the show will be starting soon. It will begin with the ‘guest’ taunting the Chopper and progresses from there.
